Industries
Risk does not look the same in every sector.
A gated community and an industrial plant can run the same cameras and need opposite systems. What changes is not the equipment: it is who comes in, how often, and what happens if they get it wrong.
How to read this page
Every sector has a tension of its own.
Below, for each sector, is the tension that defines its security design: the conflict between controlling and not getting in the way that has to be resolved in that context. If you recognize yours, we already know where the conversation starts.

Talk about this caseWhat repeats
Three patterns that show up in every sector.
- The night shift is the most expensive and the least watched. It is almost always the first place worth intervening, in any sector.
- Nobody knows who is inside right now. It is the question that most often has no answer, and the one that matters most when something happens.
- The evidence exists but cannot be found. There is video of nearly everything, and finding the right minute takes hours. That is a tooling problem, not a camera problem.
